The Amazon Jungle Adventure |

This is a different option for Incentive groups, combining eco-tourism with the infrastructure necessary for large events in a rainforest setting. Participants will have the unique experience of being in the middle of the Amazon forest in complete comfort and safety. Manaus offers the best it has at the Jungle Lodges, with options available for every group profile, as well as an excellent five-stars hotel. 1st Day - Manaus/ Jungle Lodge |
|
| Arrival at Manaus International Airport. Groups will be met by our local guides and group coordinator. Transfer on deluxe air-conditioned buses to the Tropical Hotel docks where guests will board a typical regional boat and navigate up to a Jungle Lodge, in the middle of the Amazon Forest. Welcome reception upon arrival at the lodge with local juices, coffee, tea, breads, cakes and dry snacks. Girls dressed in Indian costumes will be welcoming guests with indian music in the background. After the reception, guests will be shown to their rooms. Lunch will be served buffet style, in a private function area, after which an orientation tour departs from the lodge's dock on motorized canoes. This is a great opportunity to see Amazonian dwellings, visiting local people's houses and observing their ways of life. In the early afternoon, there will be a Happy Hour including "caipirinhas", "batidas", soft drinks, beer and mineral water, and dry snacks. Two guitar players will be invited on an "Alligator Spotting Tour" in motorized canoes. Overnight at the lodge. |

| 2nd Day - Jungle Lodge | |
Optional early morning walking Sunrise Tour, to enjoy the
awakening of the jungle. Brazilian buffet breakfast will be served at the
restaurant. After breakfast, guests will be gathered for introduction to the
"Jungle Survival Training", conducted by specialists from the Manaus Army, accompainied by a local bilingual jungle guide. During the trek, the group
will learn how and where to find edible fruit and portable water, first aid,
to build a shelter, to find their way in the middle of the forest and much
more. Employees from the lodge will be assisting with soft drinks and
mineral water all day long. Lunch will be picnic style (fish sandwiches,
fruit and local sweets) or, for the less adventurous, there will be the
opportunity to return to the lodge for a barbecue of chicken or chicken. By
4 p.m., the trekking will end at the Monkey Forest, where biologists are
working on rehabilitating monkeys which have been captive and today roam
free in this area. For the guests that returned to the lodge for lunch , a
boat will be waiting to take them to visit the monkeys at the same time the
rest of the group will be there. Early afternoon Happy Hour ("caipirinhas",
"batidas", soft drinks, beer and dry snacks). Two guitar players will
be playing to entertain the group. After happy hour, there'll be a "Beach
Party" dinner. This theme party consists of a delicious private barbecue
buffet (meat, fish and chicken + side dishes, salads, fruits and desserts)
served open air, on the lodge's river beach. The set-up will consist of
round tables chairs, white tablecloths and napkins, candles, flowers
arrangements, torches and palm leaves. Live music during diner and an Indian
Folk Show after dinner. At the end of the show, guests will be invited to
join the dancers and have tremendous fun! Overnight at the lodge. |

| 3rd Day - Jungle Lodge/ Manaus | |
Early morning breakfast (including regional dishes). Check
out from the lodge and departure in regional boats. Guests will have the
opportunity to experience one of the highlights of the Amazon: Th e Meeting of the Waters. The black waters of the Negro River and the brown waters from
the Solimoes River meet and run together for miles without mixing until they
finally merge to form the actual Amazon River. The cruise continues up to Janauari Lake where lunch will be served at a floating restaurant. The main
course will be based on Amazonian river fish (we can also arrange for lunch
on board the boat). After lunch is a visit to the famous water lilies on a
small motorboat (capacity of 10 pax). On this tour, the group will also
learn the art of piranha fishing. In the mid-afternoon they will board the
larger boat again and navigate to the Tropical Hotel. Arrival by 6pm.
Welcome check in at the hotel's private zoo, including "batidas", will be
available. Dinner will be served in one of the hotel's private dining rooms.
It will consist of a delicious buffet including assorted salads, side
dishes, meat, fish and a variety of seasonal regional fruit and desserts.

| 4th Day - Manaus | |
Breakfast
at hotel (including regional dishes). Depart early morning for a half-day
city tour. The first stop will be at the floating docks and customs house,
both masterpieces of British engineering. The next stop will be at the
Municipal Market, which offers the visitors huge slabs of Amazon fish,
exotic tropical fruit and Indian handicrafts. Next is the Museum of Natural
Science, where visitors can observe specimens of Amazonian fish, mammals,
reptile and insects, including a large array of beautiful butterflies. Lunc h
at a barbecue restaurant and return to the Tropical Hotel by 2 pm. In the
evening, clients will be requested to dress up. A touch of nostalgia and
refinement will be added to the atmosphere. Depart from the hotel to the
famous Amazonas Theater. Built by rubber barons, the elegant "Teatro
Amazonas" (Amazon Theater) was completed in 1910 and has been recently
restored to it's former splendor. This giant relic is acoustically
considered one of the finest opera houses in the world. Upon arrival, a
champagne toast and light cold hors d'oeuvres will be served by finely
dressed waiters. Cocktails will last half an hour and following this guests
will be invited to enter the opera house and be seated in front rows or in
box seats, as they wish. A half-hour chamber concert will be
presented. The group will depart back to the Tropical Hotel where the
farewell dinner will take place in one of the hotel's private areas by the
swimming pool. The menu will consist of a deluxe four-course dinner. A
five-piece dance band will entertain the guests during and after dinner.

| 5th Day - Manaus | |
| Breakfast at hotel (including regional dishes). The entire morning is at leisure for last-minute shopping or individual activities - such as enjoying the hotel's swimming pool, tennis courts, zoo, shopping arcade, etc... 12:30 pm departure for the airport to board flight to Rio de Janeiro for a connection flight. End of the services. | |
